Carter Lake
Take I-25 North to the Berthoud Exit (250) and
take a Left (West) on Highway 56 and
continue 9 1/2 miles through the town of
Berthoud. Turn Left (West) on County Road 8E
and continue for 3 miles until you arrive at the
Enterance Station to buy your permit.
Located in the foothills west of Loveland, Colorado,
Carter lake is a great lake where you will find
fishing, sailing, camping, swimming, scuba diving,
rock climbing, and waterskiing. It is open year
round.
