Steamboat Lake
From Steamboat Springs, go west for two
miles on U.S. 40 to Country Road 129.
Turn north and drive 26 miles to the entrance.
in the summer. This is the place to be! Because
of the high altitude, Steamboat Lake gets very hot
in the summer so bring your sunscreen! Come
relax on a pontoon boat, practice your
paddling in a conoe, or test your luck
with the many species of fish. This lake
also provides certain areas where you can
practice your waterskiing cuts or your
wakeboarding inverts. You can't go wrong
with Steamboats beautiful scenery and
warm summer days.
