O'Neill Collins Boardshorts- Blue (2008)
Combining a walkshort and a boardshort into a single creature has been
a dream of the surf industry for a long time. We have seen quite a few
companies try to pull this maneuver over the years, but no one has done
it with the zest and zeal that O'Neill is showing with Collins. The
trick is in the fabric which is a yarndyed poly that has the
quick-drying lightness of your favorite boardshorts, but the twill
texture of a walkshort. It is still light like a boardshort should be,
but the weave of the fabric gives it enough hand to look like a
walkshort. The test is usually not in the water, but when you cruise
these out at night. The Collins will pass the test and is ready for
any action you can drum up. O'Neill played it cool and avoided any
mega sized logos on this style which also features a single cargo
pocket with flap and a soft velcro fly.
100% poly yarndyed 22" outseam plaid boardshort features a comfort fly
closure, bias self fabric side cargo pocket and embroidered/screened
logos.
