Syndicate S1 Tommy's finally has the new HO Syndicate S1 slalom ski. The S1 is designed for more of a 34 mph skier that likes to ride a little
higher in the water, requires less energy, and has a quicker turn shape.
The new S1 will have a specific 34 mph hybrid concave design; it will
include a 5.75% smaller bevel, 17% shallower concave depth and a narrower
traction rail width, which allows the S1 to deliver a faster, lower
drag, with a more “skidded” turn shape. The S1 still shares the
characteristics of the A1 where the ski still has the stability and
predictability every skier is looking for. Plus, the surface area under
the boots are the same as the A1 that allows the ski to stay down and
cut through the wake compared to bouncing or jumping into the turning
edge through the edge change. Also, the additional surface area under
the boot region provides the lift for increased speed and reduced drag
while still having the balance for additional support at the finish
of the turn. The S1 includes a 5 stage rocker line, which utilizes dual
flat spot technology for increased speed and stability. The S1 provides
the most efficient ride in the industry with its faster and smoother
rocker line. The S1 comes in sizes 65”, 66”, 67”, and 68”.
