Job Title: Receiving Coordinator/Customer Service Representative Part time: 30 hrs week Salary Level: Negotiable General Purpose of Position: Responsible for all aspects of the receiving area process including processing all incoming freight. Also responsible for in depth coordination of Customer service aspects, including customer follow up. Tasks and Responsibilities: • Assist with unloading and handling and moving freight as needed. • Unpack and examine incoming shipments and record overages, shortages and damaged items. • Compare information on purchase orders and/or shipping notices to goods received to verify accuracy of the order and maintain accurate store records. • Prepare merchandise for the sales floor. (ie. Tagging, hangars, etc) • Type or enter information into the computer to maintain proper receiving and inventory records. • Hand in all manufacturer packing slips to accounting once they are processed. • Work with head of purchasing to resolve questions, inconsistencies, or missing data. • Aid pro-shop to answer inbound calls • Perform Follow up calls to all service customers and new boat buyers. • Keep and maintain accurate records of customer satisfaction levels • Immediately report disgruntled
customer to department head and manager and continually follow up with
disgruntled customer until the issue is resolved. Skills and Competencies: • Ability to use a computer and all basic computer programs ( word, excel, power point ect.) * Any Photoshop experience preferred. • Ability to operate all other equipment to complete the Job such as tagging guns scanners, label printer ect. • Ability to clearly and professionally communicate with associates, customers and managers. • Pleasant and friendly mannerism • Should be able to quickly recognize signals of a disgruntled customer and be able to professionally respond to and handle customer complaint. • Ability to read, count, type, write to accurately complete all documentation. • Ability to maintain organized records.
